How to type faster

  1. Look at the screen, not the keyboard. Looking down slows you and breaks your rhythm.
  2. Use all your fingers. Each finger covers its own keys.
  3. Keep a steady rhythm. An even pace beats fast bursts and long pauses.
  4. Read ahead. Look at the next word while you finish the current one.
  5. Practise little and often. Ten minutes daily beats an hour once a week.
  6. Slow down to speed up. Fix mistakes at a slower pace first. Speed follows.

Try them in Zomtype: reading ahead helps a lot when you are choosing the next zombie.
